CREATED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH
The old ways of work are crumbling. People want to be part of organizations that stand for a purpose and value well-being, where their individual expression–and dare I say “soul force”–is welcome. The time has come when many people are unwilling to compromise their values for a paycheck. And rightly so.
There are big questions before us today: How do we cultivate our own inner stability and vision? To what degree can we do this in corporate environments that we ourselves do not control? When it comes to the successful companies of the future, what will their organizational cultures be like? And who will lead them or serve as mentors?
The answer to this last question is easy: People like you. People who care.
People who want to live on purpose and are willing to do the inner work to re-imagine and reinvent how we live and work. Doing that, however, is not easy…
With training and commitment, we can learn to become proactively aware of our thoughts and emotions, instead of always being reactively driven by them. We can learn how to regulate our nervous system such that we feel grounded, capable, and solution-oriented, even in the face of very challenging situations. We can learn to do hard things in a way that both honors our humanity and keeps our integrity intact. This includes having courageous conversations, giving and receiving constructive feedback, and moving through difficult times of transition with authenticity and composure.
With the Inner MBA® program, you now have access to some of the world’s leading conscious CEOs, expert faculty, and wisdom teachers who have already experienced success in the new purpose-driven paradigm of work, people who are willing to share what they know and illuminate the path for others.
Never before has such a talented and diverse faculty come together with this singular goal in mind.
When you enroll in the Inner MBA® program, you’ll also join a community of people just like you, who are right in the midst of this “sea change” and are eager to collaborate and problem solve to navigate the challenges we each face.
Whether you are an entrepreneur, an executive, a coach, or a consultant, the Inner MBA® program is an opportunity for you to grow yourself so you can grow your work in the world and bring forward your innate gifts in more and more powerful ways.
I believe that success in the future will be defined by the depth of connection we feel to meaningful work and the people we do it with. Self-awareness, creative vision, and collaboration skills will not be “nice to have”; they will be imperatives.
If growing in this way calls to you, please come join us for our next cohort of the Inner MBA® program.
We welcome you, fellow traveler and creative business change-maker, with open arms!
With love on the journey,
TAMI SIMON,
Founder of Sounds True

The Inner MBA program consists of nine modules—you and your fellow participants will focus on one module per month for the nine-month duration of the program.
We understand that life can get busy, plus we have students in different time zones across the United States and the world. This is why we’ve designed the program to include both self-paced and live components.
During this very first virtual gathering with Inner MBA faculty and students, we will focus on what you can expect in the program and intention setting to create a solid pathway for your success throughout the program. You will meet our hosts, Tami Simon and Soren Gordhamer, meet your fellow Inner MBA participants, and be inspired by our keynote speaker Tara Mohr. Sharon Salzberg will close the event by leading a meditation for the entire cohort.
We spend a lot of time in business learning how to manage other people. But what about managing ourselves? Self-management skills can be learned by anyone who puts in the time. They help you stay composed, centered, and on purpose, while reducing conflict and misdirected energy. We’ll explore this topic from a mindfulness perspective, as well as the latest findings in neuroscience and how the brain reacts to stress.
For many cutting-edge companies, EQ is becoming more important than IQ. This challenges the decades-old belief system that tells us to leave our emotions at home. Instead, we’re invited to explore emotions effectively in a work context. The many benefits of emotional intelligence at work include faster conflict resolution and more inclusive and empathetic discussions where everybody feels heard. This naturally leads to more cooperative, creative, and productive teams. Here, we will start to employ strategies and tools to amplify our capacity for emotional intelligence.
In order to stay authentically connected with people at work, we need to develop the skill of engaging in difficult conversations. While uncomfortable, having difficult conversations in a skillful way releases pent-up energy in teams and create clarity, ease, flow, and genuine connection at work. Learning how to prepare for and deliver difficult information with skill and grace is one of the hallmarks of a conscious leader.
The power of Module 5 is that here we create intentional environments where there is an energized flow in the work, environments in which people feel valued and seen, and distinct leadership styles that support the outcomes we seek for our teams. Here, we discover our own collaborative style in pursuit of building cultures of collaboration and kindness. This module truly holds the keys to the impact of the Inner MBA program.
with Tami Simon, Nataly Kogan, and Tony Schwartz
Building on your now solid foundation of mindfulness and awareness, during this event, two expert former corporate leaders, executive coaches, speakers and authors—Nataly Kogan and Tony Schwartz—will guide you through how to maximize your personal leadership and life potential.
Empowering conversation and action to activate inclusion and invite diversity, building teams that reflect the values of our organizations, and acknowledging differences in perspective, history, culture, and socioeconomics requires awareness of the complexities of bias, racism, resistance to change, and the importance of self-awareness and care as we engage with others across what sometimes seems a great divide. The lessons here invite discourse and pursue a human approach to healing what separates us.
How do we manifest the changes we are experiencing, the knowledge we are gaining as leaders, so the members of our organizations can benefit from our learning, thereby becoming transformative leaders themselves? Here, we explore the value of and impact on the workplace of authenticity, realness, groundedness, being, and above all, courage in revealing ourselves to those with whom we engage.
In our lifetimes, we have not had such a time of disruption as we are now experiencing. Leaders must engage as humans with their colleagues, and with the communities their organizations serve, with curiosity, courage, and flexibility. Leaders must garner awareness of their own capacity for resilience and response to change, and build the strategies that will carry their organizations through these most challenging times.
The core faculty members of the Inner MBA program gather in this final module of the program to provide scaffolding, support, and confidence to take the deep learning of this program into the world and make change. There is great power in recounting all that has been gained, as well as excitement in discovering the strategies for making it all happen. There is celebration and acknowledgment of how far we have come together.
At this final live, virtual gathering with your Inner MBA faculty and community, we will focus on grounding your newfound inner wisdom into your current reality, and the changes you feel inspired to make in your work and life. We will also explore what it means for you to graduate as a transformational leader—someone who brings out the best in others and your organization.
“In my 15 years of leadership, I thought that my EQ (emotional intelligence) did me well, and it did. But what the Inner MBA helped me see is an awareness level beyond just the EQ with others, but also with myself. I am beyond impressed with the quality of the faculty. This is the best leadership program I have ever participated in.”
—Mona Elsamahy, Inner MBA Alumni
