Aligning with What Is Needed Now

Seven Inner MBA Insights on Navigating Transitions

Free Live Event with Tami Simon

August 27 at 2 pm ET | 11 am PT

We all feel it… an accelerated sense of change and the call to respond in creative ways and make unexpected shifts. It can feel dizzying, and sometimes quite daunting.

That is why we need each other.

And why we need a framework of understanding and a set of tools to help us let go of what is no longer working, accept the unknown, and align with what is newly energized and coming into form.

In Aligning with What Is Needed Now, Tami Simon, a cofounder of the Inner MBA® program, offers seven key insights on how to navigate challenging transitions, including:

  • Find an inner way—a way of being with yourself, a posture if you will, that is based on rootedness, receptivity to the unknown, and the willingness to ask for help
  • Practice allowing—how we need to release our grip of the way it has always been and the way we thought it was going to be
  • Be brave and do hard things in a human way—and keep your heart and integrity intact while doing so, including sharing difficult news and going through times of restructuring
  • Honor and attend to sadness and grief—and when we do, become powered by a type of pure potential that is also tenderhearted
  • Develop confidence in the “in-between”—learn to trust in what psychologist John Welwood calls “the fertile void”

As an intimate part of this webinar, Tami will also share her personal story of recently passing the Sounds True CEO baton to another member of the Sounds True team, Sibyl Chavis. Reflecting on her 38 years as CEO of Sounds True since founding the company in 1985, Tami will talk about how transitions, emotionally demanding as they can be, can serve as powerful evolutionary drivers.

Sounds True publishes a lot of programs that promise transformation, and many of us talk about being interested in transformational learning. Transformation requires a letting go of the old and an embrace of something new that might not yet be known. It requires a passage, a true transition from an old form to a new one. This is what we will explore in Aligning with What Is Needed Now. Come join us! There will be time for Q&A and discussion.

About Your Host

Tami Simon

Founder of Sounds True and Cofounder of the Inner MBA® Program

At age 22, Tami Simon started Sounds True with a dream and a tape recorder. Though she had no business experience, Tami had her guiding principle strongly in place: disseminate spiritual wisdom. Over its 39-year history, Sounds True has produced over 3,000 titles, been nominated twice for the Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing companies, and is North America’s leading multimedia publisher of wisdom teachings.

Let your vulnerabilities walking on the cracked, sliding limestone, be this time, not a weakness, but a faculty for understanding what’s about to happen.

The conversation will also be informed by insights from the esteemed faculty of the Inner MBA program, in which leading CEOs, conscious business trainers, and wisdom teachers help prepare us to be resilient and flexible at work, such that we can listen deeply and respond to what is being asked of us to serve the evolutionary purpose of our organizations (and ourselves).

Save Your Spot

We are taking the health of all Inner MBA enrollees very seriously. We’ve made a few additional options available in your enrollment process.

If you are uncertain about traveling to the in-person immersion events in September 2020 and April 2021, you may now enroll for the Virtual Only Program, and then upgrade later to the In-Person Immersion Events & Virtual Program if you become more comfortable with travel.

Alternately, if you’d like to enroll in the In-Person Immersion Events & Virtual Program, you can downgrade to the Virtual Only option if you need to due to travel conditions.

To support anyone experiencing financial hardship during this time, we have opened up several more scholarships than we initially planned to, to make sure no student who wants to attend is turned away for financial reasons.
