I agree that our jobs should and can be aligned with our values and purpose. Being happier and doing our jobs in a meaningful way has demonstrated to bring more revenue and success to companies in today’s world.
Thanks. This talk was uplifting! At almost 60 I’m guessing I’m part of the old generation. Yet, based on the talk, my heart is clearly part of the younger generation. I believe work, values, success, and financial well being can and will be completely integrated soon. That’s my vision. Trying to play my part. Thanks for all you do Sounds True!
I am Emotionally Intelligent — I have spent my entire life working on BECOMING EI, and having to work FOR/WITH people who aren’t is impossible.
I suffer, greatly. This is not discussed much, except in Gifted sites and Journals.
HELP!
USA, as a whole, does not promote EI. It is too Ethnocentric, and WORSE, UNWILLING TO GROW AND LEARN NEW WAYS OF BEING. It continues to try to bring everyone else down to its lower level of incompetency.
Timely Course, can hardly wait to start the Innermba program. The veil is now lifted & the tools & course skills will advance those in the program to greater awareness & adapability!
I have learned so much from webinars and online workshops on sounds true. A real life-saver for me. So many deeply caring professionals with various points of view and healing strategies. I started with Tara Brach as so many have and moved forward from there. I have shared the site info to many of my friends who have also gleaned a great deal form the offerings here. Thank you so much. Looking forward to a productive future for you, Tami.
Thank you 😊 for this visual conversation about EI. In today work environment, place for empathy, kindness and sensitive is very needed . As a somebody with highly empathy level I found often lack of that in practical, active way. We tend to talk about it but In work places ( at least at my ) people don’t apply. I am grateful for Tami and DanGoleman for highlighting this . Good luck
Often having authentic discussions at work….for example with your boss, gets you fired, because the boss or those in higher positions are not emotionally intelligent and gets you fired because of their insecurities or simply NPD issues. What then……does not always worK in the USA Which breeds narcissistic personalities.
Wrong the insecurity is for the person that doesn’t accept that every people is free to have an opinion and it is your choice and only your choice to get affected for that opinion. Emotional int. Means that you know who you are and that you can use your emotion to lift you up or make you felt.. You do not put the blame in others about your emotions. E.I. It is the knowledge of your emotions and how strategies like empathy, collaboration, etc. can help you to get better experiences that doesn’t affected you in a destructive way. Because is ok to be sad, anger, dissponinted but it is your choice stay on this emotion and they control you or take this emotion and make this emotion drives you to choose or find other or better opportunities to learn, grow and move on.
Such a good time to think about these qualities that are so much needed in the world today. Every business and every person needs to step back and create what is right for the world. I cannot wait to begin the program and learn from inspiring and conscious instructors. Thank you Tami. What a delight!
It has been a number of years since I read your book Dan- it was a great refresher to hear you speak! Be well and the inner Mba is a terrific outline by the looks of things. Ps- I am researching AQ presently- Adversity Quotient- I heard the term at the last Summit conference.
Thank you evry time is learning , now my bigning learn for my great souds true organisation , for a becoming a leadership on the Word , and connecting with the members and work together , and considération for all sounds true members on the Word, Thank you for all Thank you for Tami simon, Tara Brach, and others mem
I first learned EI (from Daniel’s book) while I trained at Naropa University/Marpa Business School with Fred Kofman in 2003. I used the tools I got there to guide small business teams in greater communication and business for the past 17 years. I have to say it astounds me that this is just gaining wider understanding and finally being offered via your InnerMBA program. How come?? and Hallelujah!!!
Just great and long overdue.
But please don’t knock us oldies and dismiss us as dinosaurs. Think of someone like Clarissa Pinkola Estes who has a whole lot to say about the value and importance of eldership , Jean Houston, still a powerhouse of avant- garde ideas and techniques for mindful and heart-full living.
I am a writer and poet, and very much in tune with the kinds of values much needed in today’s world
This is good news – I’m encouraged to hear Dan’s perspective and the developments and awareness of emotional intelligence – how this has been and is still being integrated into the corporate world …supporting the development of an emotional quota. Your study programme is so needed… value change, follow-through with conscience for climate sensitivity with accountability offers not only hope but the possibility of sustainability.
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you. Interesting. I want to read the book now! But am not interested in taking any courses. I was never interested in further studies as I”m not in business. But I did appreciate hearing about this.
This if taught and understood well with right intention of first focusing on self , self awareness and then every thing quoted above in the 3 tracks will immensely bring transformation at individual and collective level.
I am looking forward with immense , love light and joyful heart ,
🙏🙏💕💘💕🙏🙏🙏
During these days and months of semi isolation, how to have those important life changing conversations with family and friends when emotions are taking center stage.
Can I still help my children with there EQ at 18, and 20. They have a lot of anxiety , so the steps to adulthood are taking a long time. Also can anxiety, and ADD cause low EQ?
I read your book when it was first published and it helped me define what was desperately needed in technology business. As an empath in IT, I have always felt something was missing. I haven’t been successful, so far as this change agent. THIS is what I wish to do; make a real difference in changing the values for the greater good in business and IT
Thank you for this.
I believe also in a growth mindset and positive outlook as important qualities to promote in oneself.
No matter our age, we can all continue to improve.
I too am not good at conflict resolution, and tend to get hurt feelings, and then practice avoidance. I will work on this.
Thank you for your talk. At 72 and a retired school librarian, I remember the excitement and the “at last” feeling when your book came out. It was one in-service training day. Not interested in a MBA program at this time but alway Interested in learning.
You don’t have to prioritise what people think about you. Try thinking about your self, your real feelings, how your body and mind feel and say what you really think. x
I have practiced as Anaesthesiologist for more than 50 odd years, so understand what is Emotinal Inteligence, I look forward to know more about your deep thought..

COVID-19 Update:
We are taking the health of all Inner MBA enrollees very seriously. We’ve made a few additional options available in your enrollment process.
If you are uncertain about traveling to the in-person immersion events in September 2020 and April 2021, you may now enroll for the Virtual Only Program, and then upgrade later to the In-Person Immersion Events & Virtual Program if you become more comfortable with travel.
Alternately, if you’d like to enroll in the In-Person Immersion Events & Virtual Program, you can downgrade to the Virtual Only option if you need to due to travel conditions.
To support anyone experiencing financial hardship during this time, we have opened up several more scholarships than we initially planned to, to make sure no student who wants to attend is turned away for financial reasons.
Thanks for this, and for spearheading a new consciousness in business and collective life in general.

That was amazing. It’s much needed in the corporate word
Listening to the Daniel Goldman interview can see the benefits of improving my EQ even at the ripe old age 70🤞
Emotional intelligence and the bias conciseness are the key to future alignment and pessimism
Sorry the need to remove pessimism
